History

Witelon Collegium State University is one of the oldest public vocational higher education institutions in Poland. It was among the first three “pioneer” universities of this type, established in 1998.


Campus Infrastructure

The university campus includes three academic buildings (A, C, and E) and the Projects and Education Centre (Building D).

Building A

This building accommodates administrative offices, lecture halls, language laboratories, classrooms, computer rooms, and a weight training room. It also houses the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Centre, the main university library, and a number of specialized medical laboratories: Nursing Skills Lab, Long-Term Care Lab, Emergency Medical Services Lab, Kinesiotherapy Lab, Physiotherapy and Massage Lab. Additional facilities include a fitness club, gym, and student café.

Building C

This facility features lecture rooms, computer labs, language labs, general classrooms, and specialized laboratories including the Physiology Lab, Ecology and Environmental Protection Lab, and Institutional Food Lab. The building also contains a secondary library, a press and magazine reading room, and a recording studio.

Building D – Projects and Education Centre

This centre hosts a variety of modern laboratories, including: Eco Lab, Biochemical and Toxicological Lab, Anthropometric Lab, Electronics and Metrology Labs, Microprocessing Technology Lab, Renewable Energy Sources Lab, Microbiology Lab, and E-Education Lab. It also serves as the base for the Socio-Therapeutic Centre, which supports therapeutic work with children and youth, and provides assistance to parents of children with behavioural difficulties.
